Mason, MI. – A former 26 year old substitute teacher from Mount Zion, Michigan has been charged with several felony crimes for sexual assault of a minor following her sexual relationship with a teenage student at the Stockbridge School District, also in Michigan.
The trial of Allyson Brittany Moran is set to begin with Ms. Moran facing three felony counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a student and one misdemeanor count of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a student. The student alleges that the contact between himself and Ms. Moran began in the classroom and eventually moved to the popular photo-sharing app, Snapchat. The allegation claim that the two had sex two times and that the student went to Ms. Moran’s house.
The Superintendent of the Stockbridge School District has said that the schools no long are affiliated with Ms. Moran in any capacity.
Ms. Moran’s lawyer has yet to comment on the charges, but should she be found guilty she faces up to 15 years behind bars.
